HME Diesel Fitter

About the role

This is not a standard single site or single fleet position. This role suits fitters who enjoy problem solving, diagnostics, and working across diverse equipment and sites. You'll gain exposure to breakdown support, shutdowns and major outages, field service work across multiple mine sites, and a wide range of mining equipment including diggers, drills, haul trucks, dozers, loaders, and ancillary gear. ⚙️🔧

Key responsibilities

• Fault finding and diagnostics across major OEM mining equipment

• Breakdown repairs and field service support

• Shutdown and planned maintenance work

• Working across CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Terex, Sandvik, and Epiroc equipment

Requirements for the role:

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent (RPL is available for eligible applicants)

• Strong mining or OEM background

• Minimum of 3 years post trade experience

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
