GE Law Services is a boutique suburban firm that has been servicing the Glen Waverly area and beyond for 50 years.  The firm is known for its strong client base including government clients, for its no nonsense advice and willingness to challenge outside of the square to obtain the best result for its client.

GE Law Services are currently searching for an engaging and experienced Lawyer who can adapt to a varied range of matters including Will making, property leases, litigation, general property & business law.

About the Role

Based in Glen Waverly and reporting to the Managing Principal, we are looking for an experienced Lawyer to join us in our Litigation and Estate Planning practice.  The role will also include Commercial Business/Property Law.

The successful candidate will be technically sound, be comfortable with direct contact with clients & strive for a results-based approach to their clients and matters.

An element of this role will be centred on fostering client relationships and business development initiatives. You will thrive on the opportunity to build your network while promoting advancement and development.

Skills & Experience

A minimum 2 years PAE experience in wills & estates showing a willingness to become part of a collaborative team of lawyers.

A self-motivated, strategic thinker, you will have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster strong client relationships. 

You will also have the following attributes:

·        2 years post admission experience with a top tier, mid-tier or recognised boutique firm, with a particular focus on litigation or estate planning files;

·        exceptional drafting skills;

·        technical acumen;

·        strong presentation and interpersonal skills;

·        self-motivated;

·        resourceful problem solving; and

·        team oriented and supportive attitude.
