About us
At NSW Trustee and Guardian our purpose is to support the rights, welfare, and interests of the people of NSW. The agency supports the NSW Trustee, the Public Guardian and the Commissioner of Dormant Funds to carry out their statutory functions. We do this by providing a range of customer-centred services, including Will-making, trustee, financial management and guardianship services, including some for the state’s most vulnerable people.
We support over 50,000 customers annually and manage almost seven billion dollars in customer assets. A NSW government agency within the Communities and Justice Portfolio, our services help support and protect people at critical moments in their lives.

About the team
The People and Culture Division plays a critical role in enabling organisational performance by supporting the full employee lifecycle and fostering a positive, inclusive and high performing workplace. The division partners closely with leaders and teams to build capability, strengthen culture and ensure people practices are contemporary, compliant, and aligned to organisational priorities.
People and Culture provide strategic and operational expertise across workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance, wellbeing, safety and employee relations. By empowering leaders and supporting employees, the division helps create an environment where people feel engaged, supported and clear about expectations, enabling them to deliver high-quality outcomes for customers and the community.
About the role
The Organisational Development Advisor will work closely with your team, leaders and staff to provide expert advice and solutions regarding organisational development and learning initiatives to support the strategic goals of NSW Trustee and Guardian (NSWTG). The role works closely with teams across the business to scope, design, deliver and evaluate programs related to leadership, talent and succession, employee engagement and organisational culture.

About you
You will bring experience in designing, delivering and evaluating organisational development and learning initiatives. You will have strong instructional design and facilitation skills, as well the ability to use data and evidence to develop practical solutions. You will be adept at building effective relationships with diverse audiences at all levels of an organisation.
