Magna Restorations Pty Ltd is a specialist residential and commercial restoration company delivering insurance restoration services across multiple states. We support property owners and insurers with structural and contents restoration following flood, fire, water, mould, storm, and catastrophic events.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Restoration Technician to join our South Australian team. If you are passionate about the restoration industry, have relevant experience, and are looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.

• Be part of a specialist restoration team working on meaningful projects that help people recover after major property damage

• Work across fire, flood, storm, water and mould restoration in both residential and commercial environments

• Gain exposure to catastrophic event response work, including regional and interstate deployments

• Receive ongoing training and development opportunities, including support toward industry accreditations (IICRC)

• Carry out emergency Make Safe works to prevent further damage on initial site attendance

• Respond to water, fire and mould damage emergencies across residential and commercial properties

• Undertake mould remediation, structural drying, fire restoration and reinstatement support works

• Prepare accurate reports, scopes of work and quotations

• Liaise professionally with insurers, insured clients and contractors

• Maintain strong communication and build positive relationships with all stakeholders

• Operate and maintain specialised restoration equipment and complete manual handling tasks

• Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety and industry standards

• Participate in after-hours, weekend and emergency response work when required

• Support regional and interstate deployments during major events

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in insurance restoration (preferred)

• Knowledge of structural and contents restoration (carpet cleaning experience advantageous)

• IICRC accreditations highly regarded but not essential

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Strong time management and problem-solving skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure in emergency situations

• Current and valid driver’s licence is essential
