About the Role

We're looking for a Premium Client Manager to grow and service a portfolio of high-value clients across our emerging markets business. You'll own the sourcing of new clients, build genuine relationships with existing ones, and connect them with the analysts and experts who add real value to how they trade.

About the Team

This role sits within the Premium team supporting IG's Emerging Markets business, reporting into the Senior Commercial Manager. There are no direct reports. You'll work closely with the wider Premium desk, analysts and subject matter experts, and Salesforce-logged client records to ensure a consistently excellent client experience.

What you’ll do

Drive own-source acquisition of new high-value clients, building a healthy pipeline of prospective business that reflects the quality of IG's premium client proposition.

Provide an excellent, proactive service to a small book of managed clients, while also servicing our high-value non-managed client base.

Manage a small book of clients, identifying and introducing commercial opportunities to maximise the value of these house accounts.

Attend face-to-face meetings and client events, tailoring content to different client tiers and creating opportunities for clients to interact with analysts, experts and Premium Client Managers.

Carry out live market dealing and trade execution for direct and indirect clients (full training provided), alongside desk support to the Premium team including administrative tasks and inbound client queries.

Maintain accurate, timely records of client communications, meetings and business agreements, logging them on Salesforce.

Demonstrate and champion IG's values, driving towards the company's strategic and commercial goals.

What you’ll need for this role

At least 5 years' experience in a similar client management, premium service, or broking/derivative sales role.

Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, with the ability to build rapport and manage complex client conversations in all three.

Good understanding of emerging markets and the dynamics affecting clients trading within them.

Strong relationship management and business development skills, with a track record of contact with high-net-worth or professional trading clients.

Comfortable presenting to and engaging with clients at face-to-face meetings and events.

Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping discipline.

Desirable

Background in financial services or a similarly regulated industry.

Knowledge of CFDs, margin trading, and related financial products.

Experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches

Demonstrated ability to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing relationships
