Visy Workforce - Production Workers/Machine Operators

Visy is currently seeking casual Production Workers and Machine Operators for day and afternoon shift opportunities at our Yatala cardboard facility. No prior experience in production or process work? No problem! We’ll provide all the training you need to succeed. Do you have production experience and are looking for a new challenge? We want to hear from you!

Our Yatala site is a well established facility utilising fully automated machinery and systems to produce cardboard products you see every day for well-known brands. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills and build your career further, all the while earning above award rates and access to regular overtime opportunities.

What you’ll do every day:

• Regular manual handling tasks including feeding and stacking
• Assist in setup and operation of automated production machinery
• Learn about machinery and technology used in the manufacturing process
• Follow site safety procedures and report hazards
• Help contribute to the success of one of Australia’s leading manufacturing businesses

What our successful candidates possess:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
• Fit, healthy and able to carry out repetitive manual handling tasks with a focus on safety
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• A great attitude – reliable, keen to learn and develop new skills
• Previous production experience or forklift ticket highly regarded
