MOTEL MANAGER

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Motel Manager who can effectively lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the motel. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive a high standard of accommodation, dining, and hospitality services, while maintaining an efficient, welcoming, and well-managed operation. The Motel Manager will be responsible for supervising the work and activities of reception, maintenance, and housekeeping.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate motel operations, including reservations, housekeeping, and food service, ensuring consistently high standards of guest service.

• Supervise security and room and facilities maintenance to ensure the motel is safe, well-presented, and maintained to a high standard.

• Ensure the motel operates in accordance with all relevant legislation, regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards, including workplace health and safety requirements.

• Monitor and evaluate guest feedback and satisfaction, identifying opportunities to improve the overall guest experience and service delivery.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least relevant diploma level qualification.

• Experience: At least 12 months experience in a similar role.

• Other Qualifications: Marketing experience/course valued but not essential.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• RMS Knowledge.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to establish priorities.

• Solid time management skills.

• Ability to lead and coordinate various departments.
