Prestart and Contracts Administrator

An established residential home builder is seeking an experienced Prestart Consultant / Contracts Administrator to join its team.

This is an exciting, busy and rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys conducting prestart meetings, preparing contracts and guiding clients through the pre-construction journey.

Working closely with clients, and internal departments, you will play a key role in ensuring contracts, approvals and prestart processes are managed accurately and efficiently from sale through to site commencement.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate client prestart meeting and guide selections
• Prepare and process building contracts, quotations, and variations
• Manage incoming sales documentation and job setup
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, developers and local authorities
• Track job progress and provide regular updates to management
• Assist with finance approval requirements and supporting documentation
• Prepare and submit council and developer applications where required
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant and completed within required timeframes

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in residential construction ideally in a prestart role or a closely related role 
• Strong understanding of the home building process
• Confidence interpreting building plans, specifications, contracts and developer guidelines
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Solid computer literacy and administration capabilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment
• Experience using ClickHomes or similar construction software will be highly regarded
