Senior Sales Person

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Senior Sales Person to join our busy Mitre 10 store, centrally located with expanding Trade, Retail, and Online sales operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong retail experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and can contribute positively to a supportive team culture.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing outstanding customer service across trade, retail, and online sales

• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and inventory management

• Taking phone orders and coordinating store and site deliveries

• Supporting promotional specials and in-store displays

• Maintaining a broad store vision approach rather than tunnel vision

• Assisting with general store duties, including manual handling tasks

About you:

• Previous retail experience

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Professional presentation and behavior at all times

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

• Positive attitude and willingness to support the team

• Availability to participate in a rotating 6-hour Saturday roster

• Must be an Australian Citizen

Desirable:

• Current Driver's License

• Forklift License
