ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking compassionate & dedicated Junior or Grade 2 Aged Care Nurses for a range of AM & PM shifts with flexibility across the week including weekends.

Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager you will be providing support and comprehensive resident focused care within a supportive multi disciplinary team. Successful candidates will be skilled in communicating well with a range of stakeholders including staff, residents and families.

ABOUT THE PERSON

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, professional nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes for our residents and a desire to build upon the strong legacy of the Outlook Gardens aged care home.

They must be sensitive to and well-aligned to working in a Christian Aged Care setting, as many of our residents come from a reformed Christian background and hold this in high regard.   

As well as having a successful nursing track record, preferably within an aged care setting, successful candidates will be keen to facilitate growth in line with the mission and values of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Alignment to the aims, philosophy and mission of a Christian organisation. 

• Multi-tasking skills to balance a range of competing priorities 

• Problem-solving skills with a positive attitude.

• Excellent EQ and communication skills with an ability to relate well to residents, staff, families, providers, visitors, etc'

• Proven ability to effectively manage themselves and lead others.

• Successful work history that demonstrates good capacity.

  Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of RACF experience.  

• Demonstrated understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements, including accreditation standards, quality systems, continuous improvements and AN-ACC.

• Current AHPRA registration (RN Div1)

• Current 1st Aid and CPR Certificates

• Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or ability to gain this)
