Dental Assistant

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time clinical position for 4 days per week (negotiable).

We welcome applications from experienced candidates, as well as those new to the industry (6+ months of experience), or those currently studying a Certificate III. The scope of the role can be tailored to your experience.

This position is available for immediate start, however we are more than happy to accommodate existing notice periods.

We are locally owned and operated for 30+ years, operating out of a well-established location at East Gosford.

Our comprehensive range of services includes: general dentistry, preventative care, cosmetic dentistry, implantology, oral surgery, orthodontics and IV sedation. We offer technology including digital radiography (cephalometric, panoramic and intra-oral), CEREC restorations, intra-oral photography and 3D cone beam CT technology.

Our practice is QIP Accredited.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting/ support with four-handed dentistry.

• Sterilisation.

• Coordination with dental laboratories.

• Ensure effective communication between the reception and surgical teams.

• Experience using practice management software (specifically Dental 4 Windows would be favourable).

• Work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to our positive team environment.

Experience:

6 months + previous experience as a DA.

A Dental Certificate III would be favourable, but it is not required to be successful in this position, as experience will be taken into account.
