Team Assistant - Electrical

• Support apprentices and the teaching team

As a key member of the Electrical team, this role is designed to keep operations running smoothly while supporting apprentices throughout their journey. With a mix of administration, stakeholder engagement, systems coordination and reporting, you'll be an integral part of delivering exceptional outcomes in a fast paced environment.

This role primarily supports Certificate III Electrical Apprenticeship programs, you'll play an important role in ensuring apprentices, employers and teaching teams are connected, informed and set up for success. You'll work closely with teachers to help coordinate key activities, monitor progress and keep essential tasks on track, allowing them to focus on delivering quality training. You will also provide support across our Certificate II programs when required, contributing to a collaborative team environment and helping create a seamless experience for students and industry partners alike.

Key responsibilities include:

• Help shape a seamless apprentice journey by coordinating intakes, onboarding activities and key communications with students and employers.
• Keep student records, class groups and results accurate and up to date, ensuring smooth delivery across the portfolio.
• Partner with teachers to support reporting, compliance activities, funding requirements and effective use of systems.
• Contribute to the efficient running of the department through reporting, purchasing, budgeting support and operational coordination.
• Build strong relationships across The Gordon and beyond, collaborating with students, teachers, internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver a seamless and positive experience.

About You:

You’re a proactive and organised professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and supporting others to succeed. You can confidently juggle competing priorities, learn new systems quickly and build strong working relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.

You'll bring:

• Strong administration, coordination and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to quickly learn systems, run reports and use data to support decision making.
• Confidence communicating with employers, students, teachers and a broad range of stakeholders.
• Strong financial and systems capability, with experience supporting purchasing, reporting, budgeting activities and maintaining accurate data.
• Experience within a TAFE, VET, apprenticeship or regulated industry environment will be highly regarded.

Salary Range:

PACCT Level 4 - $71,946 - $76,010 p.a + Superannuation
