Heavy Diesel Fitter - FIFO 2:2

We are currently recruiting for experienced safety focused HD Fitters to perform maintenance for our Tier 1 client located in the Pilbara. 12-month contract with possibility of extension.
 
** Please Note we DO NOT have any Entry / Trainee roles available. This current position is open for Experienced candidates ONLY **
 
Position Details:

• FIFO Roster: 2:2
• Point of hire: Flights from Perth
• Hours: 12 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
• Maintain and replace critical components.
• Complete breakdown repairs in both workshop and field environments while minimising operational downtime.
• Accurately complete maintenance records using computerised maintenance management systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Australian recognized HD Fitter or Diesel Mechanic trade qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in mining, rail or heavy industrial maintenance.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work safely in both workshop and field maintenance environments.

 
If you are successful for this position you will need to provide a current national police clearance and pass a full medical. Must have full rights to work in Australia.
