About the role
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role involving the installation of concrete sleeper retaining walls. You will be comfortable lifting heavy materials, using a wheelbarrow and working outdoors.
Key responsibilities
Installing concrete sleeper retaining walls
Excavation and site preparation
Drainage and back filling
Lifting and moving concrete sleepers
Mixing and placing concrete
Loading and unloading materials
Keeping worksites, vehicles and equipment clean and organised
About you
Physically fit and capable of sustained manual work
Strong work ethic and willingness to maintain a good pace
Reliable, punctual and ready to work
Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
Initiative without needing constant direction
Respect for clients, teammates, tools and equipment
Driver's licence and reliable transport
Construction White Card
Construction, civil, landscaping, concreting, retaining wall or machinery experience would be an advantage but it is not essential for the right person
