Project Overview
Genus Infrastructure (NSW), in joint venture with Acciona, is delivering the HumeLink East project — a $1.4 billion upgrade involving 237 km of new 500 kV transmission lines and works at Bannaby Substation. The project strengthens NSW's grid, supports Snowy 2.0 and increases renewable energy capacity. Construction began in 2025 and will run through 2027-2028, creating around 1,600 jobs and contributing $2 million to local communities, with strong commitments to environmental and stakeholder management.
 
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Site Administration Support professional to join the Project Team. This casual contract role supports day‑to‑day project operations by ensuring accurate timesheet processing, organised documentation, and clear communication between site teams and Supervisors.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in construction, transmission or utilities who understands rosters, EBA conditions and the fast‑paced nature of site environments. Accuracy, urgency and confidence in following up with Supervisors are key to success in this role.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Process timesheet dockets and enter data into the project system
• File and maintain documentation in SharePoint
• Understand and work with rosters and EBA requirements
• Liaise with Supervisors to resolve timesheet queries and chase missing information
• Maintain and update the labour tracking spreadsheet
• Support project and construction teams with general site administration
• Manage compliance records, permits and documentation
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries and site access
• Assist with travel arrangements for workforce staff
• Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting requirements

About You

• Experience in construction, transmission or utilities administration
• Strong attention to detail — accuracy is essential
• Comfortable following up with Supervisors and pushing for answers when required
• Able to work to deadlines with a sense of urgency
• Confident using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and document management systems
• Knowledge of WHS, compliance processes and EBA structures is highly regarded
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently in a busy site environment
