Business Development Manager - Solar

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be the face of Lawrence & Hanson for our Solar offering.  Your role will be to build our market presence, engage new and existing customers and deliver solutions that genuinely make a difference. You’ll be accountable for sales performance across your territory while proactively seeking new business opportunities and representing our brand with integrity and enthusiasm.

What You’ll Do

• Grow and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Identify sales opportunities, conduct effective qualifying calls, and close new business
• Visit customers to understand their needs and match them with the right products and services
• Meet budgeted sales and margin targets across your assigned customer base
• Work collaboratively with branch managers, regional managers, and branch teams
• Maintain excellent supplier relationships to support customer outcomes
• Promote and contribute to a positive safety culture—identifying hazards, reporting risks, and supporting a safe workplace

What You Bring

• Proven sales experience with demonstrated success in business development or account management
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• A customer‑centric mindset and ability to build meaningful, long‑term relationships
• Solid product and industry knowledge—technical experience ideal
• Self‑motivation, resilience, and a results‑driven approach
• A commitment to safety, teamwork, and representing our values with professionalism
