The role
This is far more than a traditional administration role. As Centre Coordinator, you'll be the operational heartbeat of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, ensuring the Centre runs seamlessly while delivering an exceptional experience for staff, visitors, clients, volunteers and partners. You'll oversee the day-to-day coordination of the Centre's facilities, venue hires and events, manage multiple priorities, coordinate contractors and maintenance, improve administrative processes and act as the welcoming face and key point of contact for the Centre.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where initiative, sound judgement and strong organisational skills are essential. Working closely with the Executive Director, you'll have the autonomy to solve problems, build relationships, support strategic initiatives and contribute to the continued success and growth of this unique organisation. If you're someone who enjoys variety, loves working with people and takes pride in making things happen, this is a role where you'll genuinely make a difference every day.
About you
About us
We are a university of the land and people of our regions. True to the character of regional Australia we have gumption, we have soul and we collaborate with others. We develop holistic, far-sighted people who help their communities grow and flourish.
The Wiradjuri phrase yindyamarra winhanganha means the wisdom of respectfully knowing how to live well in a world worth living in. This phrase represents who we are at Charles Sturt University – our ethos. It comes from traditional Indigenous Australian knowledge, but it also speaks to the mission of universities – to develop and spread wisdom to make the world a better place.
Harnessing technology, we thrive as a distributed yet connected community, welcoming and engaging with people across Australia and the world.
