Food Methods Pty Ltd t/a Clove N' Honey Food Methods Pty Ltd , trading as Clove N' Honey , is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our growing culinary team on a full-time basis. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued success of two well-established hospitality venues. The successful applicant will play a key role in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality meals, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards across both locations.

The successful candidate will be required to work across our business locations: 25/405 Logan Road, Stones Corner QLD 4120 1/31 Zupp Drive, Ormeau QLD 4208 Benefits We are offering excellent working conditions and a starting gross salary of $80,000 plus superannuation.   Task & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Prepare, season and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.

Examine food products and ingredients to ensure freshness and quality. Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers and other cooking equipment. Portion and present meals with appropriate garnishes, sauces and accompaniments.

Assist in planning menus and estimating food and ingredient requirements. Prepare meals to accommodate dietary requirements and customer preferences where required. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control.

Ensure proper storage, handling and rotation of food products. Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment. Follow all food safety, workplace health and safety, and hygiene regulations.

Assist with training junior kitchen staff when required. Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient service. Qualification & experience Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or a higher qualification relevant to the position.

At least 12 months of relevant work experience as a Cook. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
