About the company:

Our client specialises in water treatment, wastewater and water infrastructure construction projects across Australia. With extensive projects across Perth Metro & Regional area's they offer a variety of opportunities to work residential as well as FIFI/DIDO when required.

About the role:

We are looking for Mechanical Fitters from a water, SMP or wastewater background to work not only across Perth Metro projects but are also flexible to work on short term FIFO/DIDO projects.

These are field based roles, out on multiple projects working with Australian regional water providers, and MRWA to provide maintenance and repairs to water pumping stations, upgrade of old pumping stations, and construction of new stations as well as new desal plants.

This is a Full Time Permanent Position, so only applications with Full Work Rights in Australia will be considered

About you, as a minimum:

• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Experience working across maintenance and civil water projects, industrial plumbing projects like pump stations, desal plants and underground pipe work
• Support the project team on major projects for local water authorities such as Water Corp, regional water suppliers, local councils and mining and resource companies both Perth Metro and remote Regional WA
• Mechanical installation for new construction and upgrade projects, working with the water team supervisors, engineers and subcontractors
• Be open to working not only on Perth Metro projects but also supporting major projects in remote regional WA both DIDO and FIFO
• Have the ability to follow design blueprints and mechanical drawings, fault find and perform maintenance on UG water infrastructure
• Ensure safe work practices are always adopted, communicating any issues to site management

• Salary, $115k to $140k + Super + uplifts for DIDO/FIFO projects when required
