Lorna Jane
About the role
12-month fixed-term contract – parental leave cover
Eagle Farm | Four days in the office, Fridays from home
Join Lorna Jane’s Enterprise Systems team and help manage the technology behind our connected store, website and mobile customer experience.
This is a hands-on, mid-level specialist role working across Shopify, NewStore (POS), product information management, search and merchandising, and a broader retail technology environment. During the 12-month contract, you will also contribute to important customer-facing initiatives across our mobile application and wider omnichannel ecosystem.
Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager, you will combine technical investigation, platform improvement, vendor coordination and stakeholder engagement. You will work alongside integration specialists, internal technology teams and external partners to progress issues and initiatives from initial investigation through to delivery.
What you’ll be doing
What you’ll bring
Essential experience
This is not a developer role. However, you should be comfortable working with Shopify Liquid, investigating common storefront and platform issues, and collaborating with development or integration specialists when deeper technical support is required.
Highly regarded
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
We do not expect candidates to have worked with every platform in our technology stack.
Why join Lorna Jane?
This role gives you broad exposure to the systems supporting stores, eCommerce, orders, product information, mobile applications and customer communications.
You will contribute to customer-facing mobile and eCommerce initiatives while continuing to improve established Shopify and omnichannel platforms. Working directly with teams across the business, you will have clear visibility of how your work improves internal operations and the customer experience.
You will have meaningful day-to-day responsibility without working in isolation. Support is available from the Enterprise Systems Manager, integration specialists, the wider IT team and established external technology partners.
Lorna Jane team members also receive an employee product discount and access to onsite parking at our Eagle Farm head office.
Working arrangements
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave.
The role is based at our Eagle Farm head office, with four days in the office and the option to work from home on Fridays.
Occasional meetings with overseas vendors or planned platform releases may take place outside standard business hours. Critical incident escalations are shared across the IT team, with overall platform accountability remaining with the Enterprise Systems Manager.
