An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Technical Agronomist to join our Mackay team. Working alongside progressive sugarcane growers and agricultural producers, you'll provide technical expertise, build strong customer relationships, and help drive farm productivity through best-practice agronomic solutions.

About the Opportunity
Located within the Great Barrier Reef catchment, Mackay is at the forefront of sustainable agriculture, offering a unique environment where productivity and environmental stewardship go hand in hand. This role provides the opportunity to partner with local producers to enhance farm performance while contributing to improved water quality and positive environmental outcomes.
As a Technical Agronomist, you'll work closely with progressive sugarcane and mixed farming enterprises, delivering expert agronomic advice and tailored solutions that drive productivity, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
You'll become a trusted advisor to your customers, combining strong technical expertise with commercial acumen to develop lasting relationships and deliver measurable value. Working alongside industry-leading producers, you'll support the implementation of best-practice farming systems, nutrient and pesticide management strategies, and sustainability initiatives that contribute to the long-term health of both farming businesses and the Great Barrier Reef.
