Chef/Cook

Location: SANDSTONE POINT, QLD

Salary: $80,001 - $100,000

Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position

• To prepare, cook and present (or otherwise delegate to other kitchen staff including cooks) food for consumption
• Supervising and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers.
• Inspecting supplies, equipment's and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
• Ordering and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Communicate with the managers and supervisors regarding issues relating to preparation and service in the restaurant
• Ensure kitchen staff follows directives and be responsible and accountable for food service.
• Ensuring food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible

Key Requirements:

• Applicant must have at least 1-Year of relevant employment experience
• Applicant will ideally hold relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for food
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Strong work ethic
• Adhere to all Food Health and Safety Regulations
