About the Role

We're looking for an analytical and commercially minded Allocator to join our Planning team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maximising sales by ensuring inventory is allocated efficiently across our national store network.

Reporting to the Merchandise Planner, you'll use data, sales trends and store insights to make inventory decisions that drive sales, minimise stock loss and support an exceptional customer experience.

Working closely with Planning, Product, Warehouse and Store teams, you'll manage stock allocations, replenishment and distribution while continually reviewing performance to optimise inventory across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain store replenishment and allocation models across new, core and promotional product ranges, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely in-store delivery.
• Analyse sales, inventory and store performance to optimise allocations, maximise sell-through and identify opportunities for replenishment and stock rebalancing.
• Manage the end-to-end stock distribution process, including allocations, replenishment, markdowns, promotions, consolidations and communication to stores.
• Profile stores using sales, size, gridding and demographic data to ensure inventory is allocated effectively across the network.
• Support store openings, closures and major inventory movements to maintain optimal stock availability.
• Build strong relationships with Warehouse, Store and key business stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely stock delivery and provide inventory support.

About You

You'll bring:

• Previous allocation, merchandise planning or inventory management experience (highly regarded)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel capability
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships across multiple teams
