The Opportunity: Diesel Fitter – Mackay Region

We’re seeking trade-qualified Diesel Fitters to join our Field Service team supporting mine sites and heavy equipment operations throughout the Mackay region.

This role is critical to ensuring our clients’ mobile plant and heavy machinery remain safe, productive, and operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy mobile plant and equipment

• Perform breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance

• Conduct component change-outs and rebuilds

• Interpret technical manuals and service documentation

• Complete detailed service reports and job documentation

• Maintain high safety standards on-site at all times

Equipment Exposure (Highly Regarded)

Experience working with equipment such as:

• Caterpillar Inc.

• Komatsu Ltd.

• Hitachi Construction Machinery

What We’re Looking For

• Trade Qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic

• Previous mine site experience (advantageous)

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Commitment to safety and compliance

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Willingness to complete a Pre-Employment Medical
