• Casual (hourly rate inclusive of 20% Casual loading)
• Level Four (4) | $51.28 - $55.14 per hour, plus superannuation.

The opportunity

The City is seeking a motivated and community-focused Ranger to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality regulatory services, including animal management, local law enforcement, investigations, and community engagement.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Completion or working towards or willingness to obtain a qualification in Regulatory Officers Compliance Skills (ROCS) 1 and 2
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional written and investigative skills
• Experience in animal handling and husbandry skills
• Sound knowledge of ranger practices and procedures, relevant statutory legislation and local laws
• A current unrestricted C class (manual) driver’s licence
• Experience operating 4WD vehicles
• Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office products
• A police clearance certificate (less than 6 months old)
• Senior First Aid
• Applicants must be aged 18 years or above
