Farm Manager - Salad Vegetables

Story Fresh has a key position for an experienced Farm Manager / Grower of vegetables, on its' main summer production farm near Nobby.

The position is a senior fulltime salaried appointment and requires previous experience in vegetable production including crop scheduling and rotation, growing decisions around watering and fertilising, spray applications as well as advanced tractor operations. The successful applicant will require a current Chemcert ticket and forklift ticket. Familiarity in the use of Ipads and Iphones is necessary to operate the technology used in the crop production systems.

Early starts, out of hours spray applications and regular weekend work are a part of farming during the production season. A 3 bedroom modern residence with established gardens is included in the package.

Work has a seasonal load (during September to March). Above award salary packages are on offer. Only candidates with demonstrated experience in small crops will be considered. These roles are hands on and require a high level of physical fitness and the ability to multi task on a daily basis.
