Giglio’s Fresh Chickens is a Poultry Abattoir located in Bonnyrigg, NSW. We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team at our Giglio’s Fresh Chickens.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

Marketing Specialist – Poultry Industry

Salary: $80,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Marketing Specialist to join our poultry business. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies that strengthen our brand, support business growth, and increase engagement with customers across the poultry industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with business objectives.

• Manage marketing activities across digital, social media, print, email, and other channels.

• Create engaging marketing content, including website content, social media posts, brochures, newsletters, and promotional materials.

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.

• Support product launches, promotions, trade shows, industry events, and other marketing initiatives.

• Manage and maintain the company's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging.

• Monitor campaign performance and prepare regular marketing reports and recommendations.

• Work closely with sales, production, and management teams to support business growth.

• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, industry partners, and external marketing providers.

• Manage marketing budgets and coordinate external agencies, designers, printers, and other suppliers.

• Stay up to date with poultry industry developments, consumer trends, and relevant market changes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent digital marketing and social media skills.

• Strong knowledge of marketing principles, campaign development, and brand management.

• Ability to analyse market data and campaign results.

• Excellent organisational and project management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Creative, proactive, and commercially minded approach.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common digital marketing platforms.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in a marketing or marketing communications role.

• Experience developing and managing marketing campaigns from planning through to delivery.

• Experience with digital marketing, social media, content creation, and email marketing.

• Experience conducting market research and analysing marketing performance.

• Experience in poultry, agriculture, food production, FMCG, or a related industry is highly desirable.

• Experience working with sales teams and external marketing suppliers is an advantage.
