Graphic Designer

We are seeking to appoint a Graphic Artist who has product photography skills on a Casual basis 3-4 days a week, including flexibility potentially requiring 5 days for the first couple of months to get through the backlog.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update of product artwork, packaging, labels, and marketing materials.

• Manage artwork timelines into ensure projects meet production and launch schedules.

• Track multiple artwork projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met. Ensure packaging artwork complies with brand guidelines, product specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain version control and approval records for all artwork.

• Liaise with customers/suppliers and printers to ensure correct file formats and print readiness.

• Maintain, manage and store all filed artwork databases for production use.

• Verify artwork accuracy including product information, barcodes, ingredients, legal statements and branding.

• Ensure packaging artwork meets regulatory standards and labelling requirements where applicable.

Skill Requirements

• Experience designing across a mix of formats such as digital banners, print, POS, sales presentations and packaging.

• Proficient product photography skills.

• Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills.

• Ability to prepare files accurately for print and digital outputs, including file setup, dimension, bleed, resolution, and export formats.

• Ability to work in a team setting and have proficient communication skills.
