Restaurant Manager | The Boatshed – Regatta Hotel

The Regatta Hotel is looking for a passionate and driven Restaurant Manager to lead The Boatshed, our premium dining restaurant within one of Brisbane's most iconic hospitality venues.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves delivering exceptional guest experiences, and knows how to build high-performing teams.

About the Role

As Restaurant Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operations of The Boatshed, leading the front-of-house team and working closely with the Venue Manager and kitchen leadership to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

You'll play a key role in creating a positive team culture, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading restaurant operations across lunch, dinner, functions and peak trade periods
• Coaching, mentoring and developing your front-of-house team
• Driving exceptional guest experiences and maintaining premium service standards
• Managing rosters, labour costs and daily operational performance
• Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service
• Supporting bookings, guest feedback, events and VIP experiences
• Maintaining presentation, compliance and operational standards
• Driving sales, profitability and repeat visitation

About You

You'll be a hands-on hospitality leader who enjoys leading from the floor and brings positive energy to every shift.

You'll also have:

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a high-volume venue
• Strong food and beverage knowledge
• A genuine passion for guest service and developing people
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
• Experience managing rosters, labour costs and service standards
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to perform under pressure
