Cleaner

About the role

You will manage daily cleaning across shared spaces including reception, staff areas, bathrooms, laundry, café and high-traffic walkways. The role suits someone organised, efficient and able to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of common areas, bathrooms, staff room, café and walkways

• Maintaining hygiene standards aligned with childcare regulations

• Laundry duties including washing, drying and putting items away

• Supporting centre events with adjusted start/finish times when required

• Spot cleaning, sanitising high-touch points and ensuring tidy, safe spaces

• Working collaboratively with our operations and maintenance team

About you

• Dependable, self-motivated and strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and follow established routines

• Flexibility with hours during special events

• Valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)

• Completion of Child Safety Training (provided as part of onboarding)

• National Police Check (required as part of our child-safe recruitment process)

• Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe environment for children
