Industrial Diesel Spares (IDS) located in Dubbo NSW specialise in providing high-quality automotive and industrial parts across a wide range of sectors, including light vehicles, heavy vehicles, and heavy equipment, as well as everything in between. Our goal is to deliver reliable service, expert knowledge, and fast turnaround times to support our customers and keep their operations running smoothly.
Industrial Diesel Spares are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers and internal staff with parts identification, ordering, and supply, ensuring accurate and timely service.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and an interest in the automotive industry.
Interpret and source automotive parts for customers and workshop requirements
Provide accurate advice on parts availability, pricing, and specifications
Process orders and ensure timely supply of parts
Maintain accurate records of orders, stock, and supplier communications
Deliver high levels of customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow
Support general warehouse and parts department operations as required
A motivated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic
Current driver’s licence (essential)
Previous experience in customer service
Automotive or parts industry experience (highly regarded but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Full-time stable hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm)
Competitive salary package of $65,000–$70,000 depending on experience
