Marketing Specialist

Sektor is a specialist technology distributor providing hardware, software and integrated solutions across POS, mobile computing, networking, healthcare, security, cybersecurity and payments throughout Australia.
  
Sektor is now looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join their team.
  
The right applicant will be responsible for:

• Plan, develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities to support Sektor’s sales objectives across its technology portfolio and specialist markets.
• Develop marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at Sektor’s reseller and channel partners, promoting the features, applications and benefits of vendor products and technology solutions.
• Coordinate the production of marketing and advertising materials, including digital content, product collateral, email campaigns, artwork, copy and other promotional materials, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Research technology markets, industry trends, customer requirements and competitor activity to assess demand and identify opportunities for new and existing products and solutions.
• Support Sektor’s business growth by developing and executing marketing objectives, programs and initiatives aligned with company, vendor and sales strategies.
• Undertake and coordinate market research to identify new market opportunities, emerging technology trends and potential areas for growth across Sektor’s specialist markets.
• Provide marketing advice regarding product positioning, promotional strategies, pricing initiatives, sales campaigns, distribution channels and go-to-market activities for Sektor and its vendor partners.
• Create, coordinate, schedule and publish marketing content across Sektor’s website, social media platforms, email marketing channels and other digital communications.
• Work with vendors, sales teams and internal stakeholders to develop and execute co-branded campaigns, product launches, promotions, partner events and other channel marketing initiatives.
• Monitor the performance and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, preparing regular reports and providing insights and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Analyse data from digital marketing platforms and campaigns, including engagement, website traffic, lead generation and campaign performance, to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Review website and digital content performance and recommend updates to content, keywords and online marketing activities to improve search visibility, engagement and overall digital marketing results.

About you:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Marketing Specialist;
• Strong marketing strategy, campaign planning and execution skills;
• Ability to conduct market research and analyse customer, competitor and industry trends;
• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, website content and campaign performance analysis;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with sales teams, vendors and channel partners.

Job type: Permanent/full-time
Salary: $79,000 - $85,000
