Elite Portables is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team.

• Hold a recognised trade certificate
• Have strong welding and fabrication skills
• Read and work from drawings
• Produce accurate, high-quality work
• Be reliable and safety-focused

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld structural steel components for portable and modular buildings.
• Read and interpret workshop drawings, plans and specifications.
• Measure, cut, drill, grind and assemble steel components accurately.
• Perform MIG welding to the required quality and structural standards.
• Inspect completed work and correct defects before production handover.
• Operate welding, cutting and fabrication equipment safely.
• Maintain tools, machinery and a clean, organised work area.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work efficiently with supervisors and other trades to meet production deadlines.
• Assist with general workshop and manufacturing duties when required.
