You’ll create an environment where your team feels supported and motivated, while ensuring customers receive the expert service Shoes & Sox is known for.Lead from the front - inspire, motivate and support your team to achieve sales and customer service goalsDrive performance - monitor KPIs, sales results and key performance measures, identifying opportunities to maximise resultsCoach and develop your team - provide ongoing feedback, training and support to help each team member reach their potentialCreate exceptional customer experiences - deliver warm, knowledgeable and personalised service to kids and their familiesOwn the concession presentation - maintain high visual standards, ensuring the space is clean, inviting and aligned with Shoes & Sox and Myer expectationsManage stock effectively - maintain strong stock control, minimise shrinkage and ensure product is available when customers need itBuild strong relationships - work collaboratively with the Myer team and other key stakeholders to support the success of the concessionKeep things running smoothly - manage day-to-day operations, rostering, team priorities and challenges with confidenceChampion a positive culture - create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where your team enjoys coming to work
ABOUT YOUYou’re an experienced retail leader who knows that great results come from great people and great customer experiences.You’ll ideally bring:Proven experience in retail leadership or store/concession managementA genuine passion for customer service and creating memorable shopping experiencesExperience coaching, training and developing a teamStrong commercial awareness and confidence working with sales targets and KPIsExcellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced retail environmentA calm, solutions-focused approach when things get busy or unexpected challenges ariseConfidence communicating with customers, team members and key stakeholdersA positive, energetic and hands-on leadership styleA genuine love of working with children and familiesA willingness to learn, grow and continuously look for ways to improve
