We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative Motorsport and Performance to join our CoolDrive and Racer Industries branch in Perth, WA on a Full Time basis.

Your responsibilities

Customer Service

• Interact with customers via phone, email and in person offering technical and product support;

• Accept customer orders, entering customer and product details into PRONTO and MARAPOST software and completing sales through to invoice;

• Process customer payment via cash or credit card where applicable;

• Visit customers to enhance company profile, improve relations and gather marketing information;

• Provide information on new products and relevant Marketing Material;

• Respond in a timely manner to customer enquiries and achieve desired outcomes throughout;

• Provide customers with pricing and availability details on products and services, as required;

• Develop new customer opportunities for the Racer Industries and CoolDrive businesses, which may require interaction with the Product Management department to identify and manage product ranges accordingly.

Collaborative Team Work

• Assist other team members as required, including but not limited to stock takes, picking, packing and dispatching customer orders;

• Support your manager to achieve department goals and targets.

Ad Hoc tasks

• Maintain the presentation of the Racer Industries showroom, including adequate stock to be on display;

• Assist with the distribution of products from the Perth warehouse, liaising with Despatch staff and management to ensure efficient and cost-effective solutions;

• Point of Sale (POS) reconciliation;

• Cash reconciliation, including processing with the bank;

• Liaise with the Branch Manager, Product Management and Purchasing departments with regards to general stock levels and forecasting of popular product;

• Attend events and trade shows for the purpose of promotion and selling products, which may require travel interstate;

• Complete other reasonable duties as required.

What you will bring 

• A valid Australian driver’s licence (required);

• General Automotive knowledge (required);

• General motorsport and performance product knowledge;

• Experience using Pronto (highly desirable);

• Experience and knowledge of Point of Sale systems and software (highly desirable);

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite;

• A collaborative team player attitude with experience in using diplomacy and tact;

• Proactive and creative thinking;

• Willingness to work at the Racer Industries Showroom and events that may be outside of the standard business hours of operation, including weekend days and public holidays.

• A proven ability to adapt to changing requirements with a continuous improvement mindset

• High results orientation, self-motivated, disciplined, driven; steadfastly pushes self and others for results;

• Proficiency in managing deadlines and demonstrated attention to detail.
