Production Team Leader

Synergie is seeking a Production Team Leader for one of Australia's leading Paint Manufacter's in Clayton.

The important parts:

• Monday – Friday 6am - 2pm
• $40 + leadership allowances ($1.29 p/h)
• Commencing ASAP

What you will be required to do:

A Summary of the role

• Lead and supervise a team of up to 20 production operators
• Monitor and drive KPIs including productivity, quality and safety
• Oversee and improve production processes and workflow
• Manage difficult conversations, performance management and team concerns
• Provide guidance, training and support to team members
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards

Production Duties:

• Operate and monitor automated production and mixing equipment
• Assist with colour matching, batching and quality checks
• Perform labelling, filling and packaging of paint products
• Carry out machine calibration, cleaning and changeovers
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
   

To be successful in the role you will:

• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in manufacturing or production (5S standard)
• Strong understanding of production processes and KPI management
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively
• Confident communicator who can handle challenging conversations
• Monday – Friday availability, including weekends if required
• Ability to lift up to 18kgs
• Proficient English literacy skills including reading and writing
• Ability to clear a Police Check and Drug and Alcohol test
• Have full working rights in Australia
