THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this part-time role (3 days per week) is being offered on a 6-month maximum-term contract to support a specific process improvement project focused on refining and maintaining FleetPartners' authorised signatory data, as well as assisting with contract management activities. The role will involve reviewing, validating and updating records, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and supporting improvements to compliance, governance and contract management processes.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Review, validate and update authorised signatory data and related contract information across relevant systems, registers and recordsSupport contract management activities, including contract record review, data entry, document organisation and tracking of key contract informationLiaise with internal stakeholders in relation to the project including providing updates and reporting. Support improvements to compliance, governance and contract management processes, templates and record-keeping practicesAssist the Legal & Compliance team with project, administrative and compliance support tasks as required
About You
If you're a law student looking to gain practical experience in a corporate environment and build exposure to compliance, legal operations and contract management, this could be a great opportunity. You'll be reliable, detail-focused and comfortable working with data and documents, with a willingness to learn and build your skills through hands-on experience.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated interest in a compliance, legal operations or paralegal roleStrong attention to detail and confidence working with spreadsheets, data and document management systemsDemonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a defined workplan and competing prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to obtain information and resolve queriesAn interest in process improvement, compliance operations and efficient ways of workingAbility to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information appropriately
