Plant Mechanic

Conplant Pty Ltd is the largest privately owned specialist compaction and construction equipment company in Australia. Our core business includes the hire and sale of compaction and construction equipment with associated servicing and the supply of parts and transport services nationally.

We are currently seeking a Plant Mechanic to join our workshop team based in Ingleburn in NSW.  Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed customer expectation.    

The role:

• Undertake fault diagnosis and repair (mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and hydraulics) in a time sensitive operational environment in Conplant’s workshop.

You will bring:

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology

• At least 12 months’ experience working on heavy construction equipment and a current driving licence would be desirable.

• Practical experience of and a willingness to follow well established workplace health and safety procedures.

• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively whilst managing multiple priorities.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
