About the role
The Enrolment and Support Officer (Prep to 6) is to monitor and action the daily operations of the school’s enrolment department in order to provide a full enrolment service to the school.
This is a hands-on role, working within the team that manages the needs of the daily operational functions of the school.
This role is expected to carry out all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of Faith CSDE and contribute positively to the aims and objectives of the school’s strategic and operational goals.
Key responsibilities
The Enrolment and Support Officer (Prep to 6) will be responsible for, but is not limited to, the following:
Enrolments: accurate processing, enquiries, applications, interviews, onboarding and withdrawals.
Customer service: friendly, professional and caring support for families, students and staff.
Withdrawals: manage the student offboarding/withdrawal process
Communication: timely responses to phone calls, emails and enquiries.
Data and recordkeeping: accurate student records and database management.
Well-being: record and manage confidential wellbeing information appropriately.
Reception and Student Services: professional front-office support and backup, and providing an outstanding customer service experience to Students, Parents and Families and Staff.
Student & Family Communication: respond to parent and student enquiries in a timely and caring manner.
Teamwork: working closely with Enrolments, Student Services, Marketing and other school departments.
Organisation: managing competing priorities accurately and efficiently.
School Events & Other Departments: assist the Events Department with school events such as Graduation, Awards nights and Professional development days.
Continuous improvement: looking for ways to make processes easier and more efficient.
About you
Evidence of Australian Work Rights: Australian Passport or Birth Certificate.
A current approved Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is compulsory.
Proven knowledge and working experience in an administrative, business support or secretarial role.
Exceptional administrative and communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Highly dependable with excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
Ability to use initiative and be decisive.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as act autonomously to achieve desired outcomes.
A qualification in business administration is highly regarded but is not essential.
