Project Manager

NORTHSIX is partnering with a well-established business in the engineering and infrastructure space, with in-house structural steel fabrication and site installation capability.
The business delivers large-scale, technically complex projects across infrastructure and industrial sectors, combining design, fabrication and site delivery.
With growth, the business is looking to appoint a Project Manager to lead project delivery across Victoria. This role also offers genuine scope for the right person to step into a broader senior leadership position over time.
Role Summary
Reporting to senior leadership within the Engineering division, you will take ownership of project delivery, working closely with workshop and fabrication teams, site engineers and project teams to ensure safety, quality, cost and program outcomes are met.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of projects across structural steel fabrication, erection and infrastructure worksCoordinate closely with workshop and fabrication teams to align delivery across site and productionOversee projects to ensure safety, quality, cost and program outcomes are achievedSupport budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for projects under your controlProvide direction and mentoring to site engineers and project engineersSupport client relationships, tenders and business growth opportunitiesReport project status, risks and opportunities to senior leadership
About You
Hands-on experience in structural steel, specifically in erection, is essentialStrong background across steel fabrication, site installation and industrial or infrastructure projectsRelevant engineering degreeSolid commercial acumenFor the right candidate, this role offers a genuine pathway into a senior leadership position
