Detail Joiner / Cabinet Maker – Commercial Furniture & Custom Joinery

Are you currently working in a cabinet making workshop, kitchen manufacturer or commercial joinery business and looking for your next opportunity?

We're looking for an experienced Detail Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our modern manufacturing facility in Fairfield East.

At our workplace no two projects are the same. You'll work on custom commercial furniture and joinery for corporate offices, education, government and commercial fit-outs.

About the Role

Working predominantly in our modern workshop, you'll manufacture a wide range of custom joinery including:

• Reception counters
• Workstations
• Boardroom furniture
• Kitchenettes
• Storage solutions
• Feature joinery
• Bespoke commercial furniture

Every now and then some projects may also involve occasional site installation work.

About You

You may currently be:

• Working in a smallish joinery operation.
• Manufacturing kitchens or wardrobes
• Producing commercial joinery
• Working as a Shopfitter wanting more workshop-based work
• Looking to move into a larger manufacturing business with modern equipment

You'll ideally have:

• Trade qualifications in Cabinet Making, Joinery or Shopfitting
• Experience manufacturing custom joinery or commercial furniture
• The ability to accurately read and interpret workshop drawings
• Strong assembly and fitting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• Your own basic hand tools
• A positive attitude and the ability to work within a team
