Pane e Pizzico Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Baker to join our growing team in Melbourne. We are looking for a passionate professional who takes pride in producing high-quality artisan breads, pizzas, and baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Key Responsibilities

Prepare, mix, knead and shape doughs for breads, pizza bases and other baked products. Bake a variety of breads and specialty bakery items according to established recipes and quality standards. Monitor fermentation, proofing and baking processes to ensure product consistency.

Prepare fillings, toppings and other bakery ingredients as required. Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering bakery ingredients and supplies.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Assist with developing new bakery products and seasonal menu items.

Work collaboratively with other kitchen and bakery staff to meet daily production requirements. Essential Requirements At least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Baker (or equivalent part-time experience).

A relevant qualification (such as Certificate III in Baking or equivalent). Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, dough preparation, fermentation and baking processes. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organisational and time management skills. Commitment to producing high-quality products and maintaining food safety standards. Ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required.
