Labourer / Solid plasterer

About the role

Straight Cut Rendering is seeking a Labourer / Solid Plasterer to join our team on a full-time basis in Adelaide, SA. This is a hands-on position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality rendering and plastering services to our clients. You will be working on various residential and commercial projects, contributing directly to the quality and reputation of our work. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic trade environment whilst working alongside experienced professionals.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing surfaces including cleaning, priming, and repairing walls and facades in preparation for rendering and plastering applications

• Applying render coats to external and internal surfaces using various techniques and materials

• Mixing and preparing render and plaster materials to the correct consistency

• Using hand and power tools to apply, smooth, and finish plastering work to specification

• Assisting with scaffolding setup and ensuring work areas are safe and organised

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail across all projects

• Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition

• Following health and safety procedures on site at all times

• Working collaboratively with other team members and tradespeople to meet project deadlines

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as solid plasterer a must.

• A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality results

• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights using scaffolding and access equipment

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

• Ability to read and follow instructions and specifications

• Reliability and punctuality

• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

• Current White Card certification (Working at Heights or equivalent) is desirable

• A valid driver's licence is preferred
