Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support the accuracy, integrity and timely processing of invoicing activities across the business. This role plays a critical part in ensuring pricing accuracy, revenue protection, customer satisfaction, and process compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end invoicing activities, ensuring data accuracy, pricing correctness, invoice completeness, and timely billing within required service standards.

• Monitor connotes, invoice status, credit notes, duplicate billings, invoice rejections, and exceptions to protect revenue and maintain strong cash flow outcomes.

• Administer customer portals, including ARIBA and other client systems, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and service expectations.

• Maintain high standards of data quality across business systems, including ICS, identifying and resolving discrepancies, system issues, and process gaps.

• Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators relating to invoicing, operational performance, portal activity, data accuracy, pricing accuracy, WHS, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Prepare dashboards, reports, and business insights that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Build strong relationships with Business Units, customers, contractors, and key stakeholders to resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain service excellence.

• Investigate risks, trends, recurring issues, and operational challenges, implementing corrective actions and escalation pathways where required.

• Drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes, eliminating duplication, reducing processing times, and improving operational efficiency.

• Maintain and enhance process documentation, including playbooks, cheat sheets, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), training materials, and LMS resources.

About you

• Previous experience in invoicing, accounts administration, revenue assurance, data quality, business support, or a similar operational role

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Experience working with ERP, invoicing, CRM, logistics, or operational management systems

• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience using customer portals, including ARIBA or similar platforms (highly desirable)

• Advanced organisational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
