Senior Bar Attendant

About the role

This is a part time position offering a minimum of 20 hours per week,

To lead and coordinate beverage operations with the club, ensuring high standards of service, compliance and team performance. The Level 5 attendant is expected to supervise staff, manage service areas, and perform advanced duties requiring a high level of skills and responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Work unsupervised as a bar attendant

• Supervise and coordinate the work of Level 1-4 food and beverage attendant staff

• Provide table service

• Operate and manage bar operations including stock control

• Train and mentor junior staff in service techniques and compliance

• Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues professionally

• Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), hygiene and safety regulations

• Assist in rostering, shift planning and operational reporting

• Liaise with kitchen and management to ensure smooth service delivery

• Maintain presentation and cleanliness of service areas

About you

• Hold a current Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

• Hold a Responsible Gaming Services (RGS) certificate

• Proven experience in food and beverage service including supervisory duties

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage service under pressure

• Sound knowledge of food and products, including wine and cocktails

• Ability to work in fast-paced team environment

• Professional and confident demeanour

• Strong attention to detail and service standards

• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
