About the role
This hands-on role involves assisting with boat painting, surface preparation, detailing, launching operations, and general boatyard duties. You will work on a variety of vessels including classic timber boats, restorations, maintenance projects, and new builds.
Key responsibilities
Assisting with vessel launching and retrieval
Boat washing, detailing and polishing
Sanding, surface preparation and paint application
Assisting with vessel launching and retrieval
General boatyard labouring and maintenance
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
Supporting tradespeople across a range of marine projects
About you
Reliable, hardworking and physically fit
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work effectively within a team
Previous marine, automotive, painting or trade experience highly regarded
