About the role
LOCATION: MELBOURNE OR SYDNEY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own end-to-end delivery of one or more concurrent enterprise IT programs from initiation and planning through execution, release and benefits realisation.
Develop and maintain detailed program plans, milestone schedules, risk registers, dependency maps and resource plans aligned to business objectives.
Lead program governance including steering committee reporting, status dashboards, RAID log management and executive stakeholder communications.
Manage program budgets, track actuals against forecasts, and provide timely financial reporting to leadership.
Engage and align senior business and technology stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Manage third-party vendors and system integrators including contract oversight, SLA management, performance reviews and escalation resolution.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across technical teams, ensuring dependencies and integration points are clearly understood and actively managed.
Define and govern ITIL-compliant release and change management processes; chair CAB and Release Go/No-Go forums.
Oversee deployment planning, production readiness validation and post-implementation reviews for major releases and platform cutovers.
Manage integrated release calendars and environment strategy, ensuring environments are fit-for-purpose and deployment-ready across all workstreams.
Champion DevOps and CI/CD adoption across delivery teams including pipeline governance, branching strategies and automated testing frameworks.
Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices, tooling and engineering culture; lead post-incident reviews and embed learnings into future programs.
Promote Agile/Hybrid delivery practices across teams, facilitating sprint ceremonies, PI planning and retrospectives as required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
10+ years of IT project and program management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior delivery role.
Demonstrated experience leading complex digital transformation programs across multi-team, multi-vendor environments.
Strong background in release and change governance including ITIL frameworks, CAB facilitation and ServiceNow ITSM.
Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies; ability to flex approach to program context.
Experience managing enterprise SaaS and cloud platforms (Azure, Salesforce, MuleSoft or similar).
Strong stakeholder management skills comfortable engaging executives, vendor leadership and cross-functional engineering teams.
