About the role
This is a hands-on position focused on producing and decorating a wide variety of cakes and pastries for wholesale customers.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and assembling cakes, pastries and desserts
Decorating cakes to a high professional standard
Producing creams, fillings, mousses and other components
Following recipes and maintaining consistent quality
Completing daily production within required timeframes
Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe workspace
Working closely with the pastry and bakery production team
About you
Have previous experience as a pastry chef or cake decorator
Be confident with cake assembly, finishing and decorating
Have excellent attention to detail
Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Be reliable, punctual and well organised
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Understand food safety and workplace hygiene requirements
Have full Australian working rights
