Manager - Recruitment

Lead a team in the delivery of high-volume corporate recruitment across the department.

The Manager Recruitment will:

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused, innovative Recruitment Manager to lead a team in the delivery of high-volume corporate recruitment across the department. This opportunity is available due to an internal secondment.

• Lead and mentor a dedicated recruitment team in providing guidance and support to hiring managers throughout end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Develop and foster collaborative relationships with internal client groups to understand their specific, complex recruitment needs and challenges.
• Streamline and optimise recruitment processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness and the candidate experience.
• Implement best practices for sourcing, screening, and onboarding top talent, manage employment programs and workforce projects.
• Analyse and utilise recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
  
  

About You:

• Proven experience in recruitment, with a track record of managing a high-performing team.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Familiarity with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems.
• A strategic mindset with a passion for fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  
  Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant field is

• Experience in state government recruitment or applicable recruitment systems would be advantageous.

About the Division

The People Strategy and Operations (VPS) Division is responsible for managing HR operations and providing strategic support for both corporate staff and accommodation services. It oversees corporate environments, sustainability initiatives, payroll, recruitment, policy development, workplace relations, and workforce management. Operating under a values-based framework, the division prioritises meeting client needs and improving policies and processes, to deliver on our corporate responsibilities.

It is an exciting time to join the People Services branch, which manages payroll, people operations, talent acquisition and HR services with the goal of attracting and retaining top talent, whilst nurturing a culture of high performance and innovation.
