The Opportunity

Join our Team at Gloucester Park Olympic Swimming Pool!

Are you looking for seasonal work in a fun, community-focused environment? Gloucester Park Olympic Swimming Pool is looking for enthusiastic Pool Attendants to join the team for the upcoming season, with multiple vacancies available.

Located in the beautiful Gloucester District Park, our pool complex includes a 50-metre, 7-lane Olympic pool, a solar-heated toddlers' pool and a 13-metre hydrotherapy pool, offering a range of programs and services for the local community.

About the role

As a Pool Attendant, you will help support the day-to-day operations of the facility and play an important role in ensuring our pools are safe, clean, welcoming and well-maintained.

Working closely with our Senior Pool Attendants, you will assist with customer service, supervision, safety, education and general pool operations to help provide a positive experience for all visitors.

What you'll bring

We are looking for people who have strong communication skills and can build positive working relationships with customers, team members and the broader community.

You will also need, or be willing to obtain at your own expense prior to commencement:

• Pool Lifeguard Certificate - Royal Life Saving Society Australia
• Current First Aid Certificate - HLTAID011
• Current CPR competency - HLTAID009
• Working with Children Check Clearance

Salary: Hourly rate of $28.41 plus superannuation.

For casual engagements, a 25% casual loading also applies.

Junior rates apply depending on age, ranging from $13.19 per hour and $22.64 per hour (plus superannuation).

Location: Upon commencement, your normal place of work will be Gloucester Olympic Swimming Complex, located at Gloucester District Park, Boundary Street, Gloucester.

Tenure: Casual - seasonal work.

Pre-employment requirements: Please note that successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical check to ensure they can safely perform the essential requirements of the role.
